ROOM M??: INTRODUCTION
Sylar wakes up in a strange room. He's furious about his loss of the Shanti Virus cure, but once he realizes he's been mistaken for someone named "Zachary Blaine," he decides to play along.
CAFETERIA: BREAKFAST
While trying to assess the situation, Sylar meets a young girl named Rukia. He introduces himself as his newfound alias and she explains to him the ins and outs of Landel's Institute. He accepts her invitation to join her scouting group the coming night.
BULLETIN BOARD 1: BREAKFAST/2nd SHIFT
Sylar checks out the bulletin and finds an interesting post by someone calling herself "Elle." He replies anonymously, looking for information, and also notes another exchange beneath his. The other notes seem to corroborate Rukia's claims and he finds a posted schedule. He soon suspects that Elle is the woman who knocked him out in Mohinder's lab and sets up a meeting with her.
BULLETIN BOARD 2: BREAKFAST/2nd SHIFT
Sylar finds out the possibility that Claire Bennet is here. This place is becoming more and more intriguing...
SUN ROOM: 2nd SHIFT
Sylar meets with Elle. He realizes that, yes, she's the woman from Mohinder's lab, though she denies any knowledge of their meeting or how they got there. She insinuates that they could make a good team before Sylar is taken back to his room for his violent tendencies. He is intrigued by Elle's offer and the prospect of manipulating her to lead him to the Shanti cure.
Night 32
ROOM M27: DINNER, NIGHTSHIFT
Sylar ransacks both sides of his room for useful objects and doesn't find much. He sees his roommate passed out on the other bed but nothing seems to be able to wake him. When Nightshift starts, Sylar is angered when he realizes his door hasn't automatically unlocked like everybody else's.
JOURNAL: ENTRY #1
Sylar lets out his frustration and also makes note of the people he's pegged as targets so far.
M20-M30 HALL to MAIN HALLWAY, 1-CENTER: TRAVELING
Sylar's door finally opens and he heads towards the Entry Room that he saw earlier.
ENTRY ROOM
Sylar gets to his destination and discovers a man eating a monster's brains. When attacked by the man, he tries to talk his way out of it, but is interrupted by Elle's impromptu arrival. He soon realizes that Elle and the man--Eddie--know each other and he hatches a plan to exploit the powers that both of them exhibit. Just before daybreak, he also finds out about Peter Petrelli's presence at the Institute.
Day 33: Thursday
CAFETERIA: BREAKFAST
All of his allies and enemies already accompanied by someone else, Sylar decides to play it safe and find someone else to converse with. He sits down near a man whose demeanor betrays abnormality.
BULLETIN BOARD 1: BREAKFAST/2nd SHIFT
Someone needs a watchmaker and Sylar decides to offer his services to see what he can earn in return. It seems the poster has a syringe.
BULLETIN BOARD 2: BREAKFAST/2nd SHIFT
Sylar makes an attempt to gain Claire's trust through the anonymity of the bulletin board. He becomes overeager and arouses her suspicion.
RECREATIONAL FIELD: 2nd SHIFT
Sylar meets up with Eddie. They attempt to read each others' intentions and Sylar manages to gain Eddie's interest by promising he'll come up with something useful the coming night, though he isn't sure what yet. They plan to meet.
GREENHOUSE: 4th SHIFT
Sylar goes and meets a young man calling himself Robin Prower who represents the man who asked for a watchmaker's services. He lets Sylar know that the meet-up will most likely take place not this night but the coming one.
Night 33
ROOM M27 to M21-M30 HALL
Sylar, after noting that his roommate still doesn't seem close to waking, heads out with a flashlight in hand. He needs to kill someone to solidify his "alliance" with Eddie, but he doesn't know who or how.
M-A BLOCK HALLWAY
A solution presents itself: the unsavory man from breakfast. Sylar attacks him with his flashlight, and after a struggle, manages to kill him. Brock comes upon the scene soon after, and Sylar realizes that he feels a glimmer of his ability to see how things work. He decides to take a look at the brain.
MEN'S BATHROOMS (M1-M40)
Sylar studies the man's brain and sure enough picks up some sort of ability from it. However, he can't figure out what the ability is and it seems to give him violent headaches rather than any benefits. He spends the next few minutes trying to figure out what the symbols on the man's palms mean and suffering mentally for it. He also grabs the sack that the now-dead man was carrying.
Day 34: Friday
COURTYARD: 2nd SHIFT
After sleeping in through breakfast, Sylar wakes up with the same nasty headache and is urged into the Courtyard by a nurse. There, he inadvertently meets a man named Logan who looks strangely familiar. More concerning, however, is the fact that Logan seems much more perceptive about Sylar's true nature than most.
BULLETIN BOARD 1: 2nd/LUNCH
Despite his migraine, Sylar manages to sketch out the symbols tattooed on the man he killed and inquires as to their meaning. He's received with a strange mix of relief and suspicion; all he learns is that the man could turn people into bombs, which makes his lack of information all the more frustrating.
CAFETERIA: LUNCH
Still in pain, Sylar meets a woman named Callisto and talks with her. He takes a liking to what seems to be her violent nature and her background with gods, considering her a potential partner for foraging with in the future.
BULLETIN BOARD 2: LUNCH/4th
A post to the bulletin board claims that Elle is trying to have a man killed. Sylar, already suspecting her of manipulation and treachery, jumps to the conclusion that the man referred to is him. (It's not.)
Night 34
COURTYARD
Sylar has Special Counseling and comes back to full power. He ambushes a patient and is then attacked by Rukia and two of her friends, all of whom he easily fights. Then, Peter Petrelli rushes in; he also seems to be at full power, and he and Sylar fight up until Claire Bennet makes her appearance. Sylar manages to kill her and is about to gain her and Peter's powers when Peter defeats him.
Day 35: Saturday
BUS #3: 1st SHIFT
Sylar wakes up in his room only to realize that even though he'd been given his powers back the night before, it had all just been part of the Institute's grand scheme. Agitated, he begins to plan retaliation against the nurses before he realizes that today marks the weekly trip outside of the Institute. Wanting to get out and see the area, he decides to play it cool for now. Once on the bus, he meets a sweet-seeming girl named Anthy.
MAGUS PARK, GERMAINE STREET, MAIN STREET
Looking for someone primed for using, Sylar approaches a young man who introduces himself as Clark and proves to be kind enough to help Sylar find his way around town. However, Sylar is forced to leave the kid when he sees Claire coming down the street, and from a safe vantage point, he sees her meet up with none other than Clark himself. Sylar makes a mental note that he should exploit this connection.
T&M ELECTRONICS
Sylar ducks into the store to avoid Claire but soon finds himself browsing with some interest.

Sylar's roommate is finally awake; however, they don't talk much.

As he walks out of his room, Sylar notices Peter in the same immediate hallway. Wanting revenge for the night before, he accosts him and the two end up in a power-lacking fist fight.

Elle leaves a note of powers for Sylar. He doesn't trust it.

Sylar wakes up from the middle of his fight with Peter and feels fairly satisfied that he can hold his own even without his powers. Once at breakfast, he ends up conversing with an extremely amiable man named Wally West who immediately befriends him.
BULLETIN BOARD 2: 2nd SHIFT
Sylar tries again to find out information about the "alchemy" power that he supposedly now has. Although one patient seems suspicious of his motives, a man named Adel offers to teach him. They schedule a meeting for lunch the next day.

Sylar recognizes one of Rukia's friends from the night of SC and approaches him, trying to make amends. It turns out his name is Allen Walker and he seems conveniently forgiving about the situation.

Sylar sees that Elle and Peter have planned a meeting for some foraging; he decides to use the information to ambush them.
ROOM M27: DINNER
After having barely talked to his old roommate, Sylar finds he has a new one. Billy introduces himself but their conversation doesn't get much further than that.

M21-M30 HALL, M-A BLOCK HALL, WEST WING, SOUTH HALL 1-A
Sylar lies in wait for Peter to walk down the hall. Once he does, he follows him through the corridors and straight to Elle.
MAIN HALLWAY, 1-WEST, STAIRWELL BY WAITING ROOM / LOBBY 1
While Peter and Elle are distracted, Sylar attacks. He manages to hit Elle on the side of her head before both she and Peter send bursts of electricity at him to slow him down. Sylar doggedly pursues them, and despite Peter's efforts to keep Elle out of harm's way, she decides to fight back. Although Elle manages to do some damage to him, Sylar ultimately wins the ensuing confrontation by stabbing Elle in the neck with a pen, killing her. Peter, enraged, attacks Sylar and the two brawl it out until Sylar manages to land a blow that incapacitates his enemy. While Peter is stunned, Sylar cracks open Elle's skull against the stairs. He studies her brain and gains the power of electrokinesis.
Day 38: Tuesday
CAFETERIA: LUNCH
Sylar wakes up to a blinding headache brought on by his new power. He vaguely recalls a plan meeting with "Adel" but the man never shows up. Sylar is too out of it to care much.
SUN ROOM: 4th SHIFT
Sylar, still suffering from his migraine, comes across a kind woman in the Sun Room; however, he never gets her name.
Day 39: Wednesday

Although Sylar is miffed that his headache caused him to miss out on an entire Nightshift, a young woman comes near Sylar and immediately reacts to him with terror. Knowing that no stranger at the Institute could know he was a serial killer by his face alone, Sylar guesses that she must know him from his world somehow. He drops his act and asks her to sit, but he doesn't get to ask many questions.
